What is Supervised Care?
Hideaway Farm isn’t a traditional boarding facility, but we do offer short-term stays for horses recovering from minor injuries* or needing care while their owners are out of town.
Whether your horse needs extra supervision for a few days or a quiet space to recover from a minor issue, we provide personalized care in a calm, well-maintained environment.
Why Short-Term Boarding?
If you've owned horses for more than five minutes, you know they’re experts at finding ways to get into trouble. Even something as routine as a hoof abscess requires consistent attention—like soaking multiple times a day—to support recovery. That level of care isn’t always easy to provide when work or life keeps you busy.
We fill that gap with practical, hands-on support tailored to your horse’s needs.
What we provide:

- Fully customizable stalls and turnout spaces
- Support for horses on stall rest, limited turnout, or needing movement in a small paddock
- Flexible drop-off and pickup
- Live stall camera access so you can check in from your phone or computer
- Feeding**, turnout, and cleaning routines based on your instructions

Planning a trip? Whether it's a long weekend or an extended break, you can leave your horse in capable hands and travel with confidence. Every horse boarded at Hideaway Farm is monitored closely, and your care preferences are followed exactly as directed**.
We work with your schedule and your horse’s routine, and we’re available to answer questions or provide updates as needed.
*Hideaway Farm does not diagnose conditions or provide medical treatment. Horses must be evaluated and cleared by a veterinarian, farrier, or other qualified professional prior to arrival. We can administer oral or topical medications as directed but do not give injections.
**Horses will be fed owner-provided feed, hay, and supplements. Depending on the length of stay, arrangements may be made for Hideaway Farm to assist with providing feed and hay.
